3. How We Use Your Data
We use your personal data primarily to:
- Register you as a user and manage your Pro Chord account.
- Provide and maintain the app features, including syncing your saved tabs.
- Protect our application from spam, abuse, and security threats.
- Improve our chord and tab library based on aggregate user interactions.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services which may collect and process your data:
- Firebase Authentication & Firestore: Used for secure user login and database storage for your saved chords and tabs. (Firebase Privacy Policy)
- Google reCAPTCHA v3: We use reCAPTCHA v3 on our site to prevent spam and abuse. The reCAPTCHA API works by collecting hardware and software information, such as device and application data, and sending these data to Google for analysis. The information collected in connection with your use of the service will be used for improving reCAPTCHA and for general security purposes. It will not be used for personalized advertising by Google. Your use of reCAPTCHA v3 is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.
5. Data Security & Retention
We have implemented appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used, or accessed in an unauthorized way. Your data is stored securely via Google Cloud services. We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you the Pro Chord services.

Depending on your location, you may have rights under data protection laws in relation to your personal data, including the right to:

- Request correction or erasure of your personal data.
- Withdraw consent for data processing.
